Commerce Commission - Telecommunications
The Telecommunications Commissioner's role (at the Commerce Commission) is to:
- Make determinations on disputes between access seekers and the access providers for designated services
- Undertake costing and monitoring activities relating to the Telecommunications Service Obligations
- Recommend to the Minister the desirability of regulating additional services or amending the regulation of services
- Propose and approve codes of conduct applicable to the industry.
