Our products allow our customers the flexibility to determine the most cost effective means to deliver services to their customers. They can choose to invest in network equipment which can be placed in our exchanges and cabinets - or use ours. Or they can use our "Layer 2" services to deliver broadband and voice services to you.

Layer 2 products include the bitstream equipment and services which transmit basic data from one point in the network to another over the Layer 1 physical assets. Our Field Services products are delivered by the most recognised part of Chorus, our team of service technicians who make over one million visits a year to New Zealand homes and businesses. Our nationwide property portfolio includes local telephone exchanges, roadside cabinets, mobile masts and radio towers. We use these assets to help service providers build a network that will operate where they need it to. They can reach customers nationwide or focus on a single area – anywhere from central Auckland to rural Southland.

As well as a place to install internet or phone equipment, our network of exchanges provides a secure place for data warehousing or other IT equipment. Wireless operators can also install their own equipment on our communications masts or towers. Our co-location services include all the systems required to support IT or telecommunications equipment. We provision and support a range of Telecom Wholesale products which include voice and data services. This made sense from a customer experience point of view and means that when one of our customers orders a broadband connection and a voice service they can do it all through our system, rather than having to then order via a Telecom Wholeale system.
