Who we are
Chorus operates the physical network that your telecommunications provider probably uses to deliver phone and Internet services to you.
We are a part of Telecom New Zealand, but have been established as a completely separate business. Our job is to build and maintain Telecom's copper and fibre network. And crucially, make that network available for other telecommunications providers to use.
Because we want all New Zealanders to have access to high-speed broadband and reliable telephone services, we're investing heavily to develop and improve our network.

What this means
- If you run a business that wants to market broadband or telecommunications services, Chorus can give you access to existing network infrastructure without you or your customers having to buy broadband, calling or local access services from Telecom.
- If you are a Telecom customer, you may soon have a greater choice of competitively-priced phone and Internet services.
