A little red car, great friends and a hot summer's day spent at the beach ... these are the memories envoked by this Ashburton mural.
Located in Walnut Avenue, artist Anna Jemmett says Mini Me is all about her recollections of adventures in her first car.
"My first car at 16yrs old was a copper red little Mini. It was handed down to me by my brother and was my Aunty’s before that.
"I have great memories as a teenager driving round town with other mates who also had Minis. They were very popular in the 90s.
"Once we bunked school and drove up to Christchurch and went to Sumner Beach so this is the inspiration for my artwork."
