The best broadband for your business

Maybe you’re gearing up for growth, already running at full speed, or happy for things to keep running ‘BAU’. No matter what’s happening in your small business, if your business depends on the internet to function, you should depend on fibre.

With so much of your ‘work’ today being reliant on the cloud, having the broadband coupled with the right data plan will keep everything running smoothly. If something goes wrong, everything shouldn’t grind to a halt.

What is business grade fibre

Business grade fibre offers you all the advantages of ultra-fast fibre on consumer plans but with greater priority and levels of service. This ensures you get all the speed, consistency and reliability that sets fibre apart from other broadband types, plus additional support on installation and across the life of your plan. And if there’s ever any issues with your connection you get to jump to the front of the queue. Think of it as the difference between travelling in economy and business class on a flight but without the price tag.

Business grade fibre plans can support a range of online activities:

  • Internet browsing
  • E-commerce
  • EFTPOS
  • VOIP Line
  • E-mail
  • Online business software
  • Skype/video calling

Speed

Business grade fibre plans offer the fastest broadband connections in New Zealand. Harness its speed for the tools you use today, and the technology you’re going to need tomorrow.

Capacity

Fibre has extensive capacity to deliver all your internet needs no matter how many people in your business are using it, or what they’re doing – streaming, video calling or sharing large files.

No data traffic jams

Some broadband offers internet access that is shared with others on a mobile network creating a higher risk of congestion. With fibre you get a physical line dedicated to your premises ensuring consistently fast internet no matter what time of the day.

Priority

Network faults, no one likes them but they do happen sometimes. With our “business restore” priority service you get to jump the queue and have any issue fixed fast within 24 hours*.

* Downtime reported to Chorus before midday will be restored by 7PM on that day. Downtime reported to Chorus after midday will be restored by midday the following day.

Better Service

Starting with the installation process you get a dedicated business tech overseeing the delivery of fibre to your workspace or premises followed by service desk support throughout the duration of a business grade fibre plan.

Find a provider near you

If your business premises are within reach of the ultra-fast broadband (UFB) network, contact your preferred broadband provider to order a business fibre plan.

If the UFB network is not yet available at your address, we do have business fibre that already exists in some areas with a range of services available. Contact your broadband provider to learn more about the options and costs for extending the network to your premises and getting connected. See the map below to find providers in your area.

While Chorus provides the technology, we don’t sell the broadband service directly. Once we have laid the fibre cable in your street, you need to contact your broadband provider to order your connection and choose a plan that best suits your needs. Then, your broadband provider places an order with us to connect your home to the fibre network.
