Priority

Network faults, no one likes them but they do happen sometimes. With our “business restore” priority service you get to jump the queue and have any issue fixed fast within 24 hours*.

* Downtime reported to Chorus before midday will be restored by 7PM on that day. Downtime reported to Chorus after midday will be restored by midday the following day.

Better Service

It starts with the installation process with a dedicated business tech overseeing the delivery of fibre to a workspace or premises. Once a business is on fibre, it is supported by a dedicated business service desk throughout the duration of a business grade fibre plan.

High traffic bandwidth

With more and more businesses using real time applications like video conferencing it’s important to ensure you have the right amount of high traffic bandwidth to ensure critical business data is delivered without interruption.

Transparent VLAN

Transparent VLAN gives larger and more complex businesses the flexibility and control to route traffic or allocate bandwidth with their own customised network. It means enhanced security for hosting business applications, and is suitable for any business that needs multi-site private connection or broadcast control.

Bandwidth guide

Reliable and ample bandwidth is essential to the continued success of any company. In order to function effectively in today's highly-competitive business environment, it's good to provide employees and customers with a high standard of communication capability, without the prospect of being interrupted due to 'technical difficulties'.

Calculating how much bandwidth you need is not an exact science. While there are many detailed usage assessment tools available, a simpler approach is to consider how reliant your business is on digital activities. If you answer yes to most of the below questions chances are your business will operate best on a connection with ample bandwidth, such as unlimited on a fastest fibre plan. It’s typically not much more than the entry level plans and that way you’ll know your needs are covered.

  • Does our business mainly communicate with suppliers and customers online rather than offline i.e. in person or over the phone?

  • Is digital technology considered important in terms of driving cost efficiencies and better customer experience in your organisation both now and in the future?

  • Do you tend to use more than one cloud based applications as part of your day to day operations (payroll, accounting, sales etc)

  • Do you employees in your organisation work remotely and/or require the means to communicate via video or VOIP?

Below provides a guide on bandwidth usage, when calculating it pays to think about current and future needs based on business growth.

Find a provider near you

If your business premises are within reach of the ultra-fast broadband (UFB) network, contact your preferred broadband provider to order a business fibre plan.

If the UFB network is not yet available at your address, we do have business fibre that already exists in some areas with a range of services available. Contact your broadband provider to learn more about the options and costs for extending the network to your premises and getting connected. See the map below to find providers in your area.

While Chorus provides the technology, we don’t sell the broadband service directly. Once we have laid the fibre cable in your street, you need to contact your broadband provider to order your connection and choose a plan that best suits your needs. Then, your broadband provider places an order with us to connect your home to the fibre network.

See the map below to find providers in your area.
