What do I need to do?
The build methods used for category 3 can have a greater impact on your property so we need to get consent from all neighbours before getting started. Fill in the consent form included with your notification pack and send it back to us. Once all consents have been gained, we'll be in touch to let you know when we plan to start work.

Agree on a plan
We’ll get in touch to arrange for a Chorus technician to meet with you at your place to talk through the next steps and agree on a plan for the rest of your fibre installation.
Build your fibre
We do some work to bring fibre from the cables installed during the initial build phase to your apartment where we’ll install an Optical Network Terminal (ONT).
Connect to our network
We then connect your modem to the ONT and test the connection before we leave to make sure everything is working as it should.

Build your fibre
We do some work to bring fibre from the cables from the shared driveway to the outside of your house and a small box called an external termination point (ETP).
Connect to our network
We then install another box called an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) inside your house which we’ll connect your modem to before testing your new connection.
