Downstream Event 2023

Chorus New Zealand Limited (Chorus, we, our) is the promoter of this competition (Competition).

By providing your details and entering this competition, you acknowledge that:

• you have read and accepted these terms and conditions, and
• you authorise Chorus to collect the information you provide. We’ll treat that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which may also include us (or our partners) contacting you with future updates that are relevant to you.

Who can enter

This Competition runs from 28 March 2023 to 1pm on 29 March 2023, so you have until then to enter.

To be eligible, you must:

• live in New Zealand;
• be aged 18 years or over
• not be an employee (or family member thereof) of Chorus or any partners associated with the Competition;

Only one entry per person per email will be accepted.

How to participate

Talk to the Chorus team and they will scan your event lanyard at Downstream on 28 March and 29 March 2023.

Determining the winner

A winner will be determined after Chorus has assessed all of the entries, drawn from all the entries on or before 29 March 2023. Chorus will notify the winner after the draw has taken place, on or before 29 March 2023 by phone or email and within 5 days the winner must confirm whether they wish to claim the prize. If you are unable or unwilling to accept the prize, Chorus may award it to another entrant.

Winners must have provided a valid email, phone number and/or address as required by the entry form. If you accept a prize, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize.

Chorus will arrange for the prize to be delivered to the winner.

General terms

• Chorus’ decisions final: Chorus’ decision in relation to the winner, eligibility for participation or entry, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• Changes and cancellation: Chorus may modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice and reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the competition for any reason (including, for completeness, where there is suspected fraudulent or invalid participation).

• Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Chorus and any other person or party associated with this Competition, will not be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, as a result of, or arising from, your participation in the Competition.

• Publicity: You agree to participate in publicity generated by Chorus (or Chorus’ marketing partners) and agree to the use of your name for promotional purposes without remuneration.

• Platforms: You must comply with the terms of any platform used to participate in the Competition. Chorus and any other person or party associated with this Competition is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any platform, website service, equipment or programme used in or associated with this Competition.

• Invalid claims: Any request to enter or claim in relation to this Competition after its expiry will be deemed invalid. Chorus is not responsible for registration requests or claims that are not received, and any incomplete, illegible or fraudulent registrations or claims are not valid.

• Governing law: This Competition is governed by New Zealand law.
