Understanding the installation process

We aim to install fibre in a like for like way, which means we'll copy how your current connection was installed. But where this is not possible, we may use any one of the methods outlined in the video. Your Chorus technician will always recommend what would work best for your property.

Fibre’s fast but there’s a lot that contributes to the speed of a broadband service.

If your property is not included in the government’s UFB initiative, Chorus is still able to extend its fibre network at your own cost.

It would pay to talk to your neighbours to see if a communal build would work for you.
