Enough Internet Competition

Chorus New Zealand Limited (Chorus, we, our) is the promoter of the Enough Internet competition. By entering this competition below, you acknowledge that: 

  • you authorise Chorus to collect the information you provide. We’ll treat that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which may also include contacting you with future updates that are relevant to you.   
  • you can enter on multiple days, but if you win once, then you won’t be able to win a later prize allocated to a different day. 

Timeframe

The competition will run from Thursday, 1 September 2022 until 11.59pm Wednesday, 30 November 2022.  

Who can enter

To be eligible to enter the competition, you must: 

  • be aged 18 or older and live in New Zealand 
  • be connected or able to connect to the fibre network in an area where Chorus is the fibre provider – you can check this by entering your address at www.chorus.co.nz
  • not be an employee (or immediate family member thereof) of Chorus or of Noel Leeming, who are assisting with the competition.

There will be three different prizes on offer each month of the competition – we will notify the winners of each specific prize after each draw has taken place.  You can place one entry per person.  

Chorus is not responsible for entries not received and incomplete, illegible or fraudulent entries are not valid. 

Determining winners

There will be monthly prize draws. The winners of the prior months prizes will be determined by a draw out of all of the valid entries received on the relevant day. The draws will take place on the following dates: 

  • Friday, 7 October 2022 (for the prizes advertised from Thursday, 1 September through to Wednesday, 30 September ) 
  • Monday, 7 November 2022, (for the prizes advertised from Saturday 1 October, through to Sunday, 30 November) 
  • Thursday, 7 December 2022 (for the prizes advertised from Tuesday, 1 November through to Wednesday, 30 November)  

Chorus’ decision in relation to the winner (or any other aspect of this competition) is final and no correspondence will be entered into. In particular, if an entrant is selected that has already won an earlier prize in the competition, they will not be able to win a second subsequent prize. 

If you've won

Chorus will notify the winners after each draw has taken place, and no later than Thursday, 8 December 2022, by phone or email at the valid addresses provided. Within 5 days the winner must confirm whether they wish to claim the prize. If you are unable or unwilling to accept the prize, Chorus may award it to another entrant. 

Chorus will arrange for the prize to be delivered to each winner. Depending on the location of the winner, or any disruptions caused by Covid-19 circumstances or restrictions, delivery may be delayed. 

Please note:  

  • If the prize is out of stock or unavailable, the winner will be given a substitute prize of equal or greater value, or a Noel Leeming gift card of equal or greater value, at Chorus’ discretion. 
  • No prize is transferable or redeemable for cash and none can be used in combination with any other promotions, vouchers or discounts. 
  • If you accept a prize, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize. 

Modifications of terms and conditions

Chorus may modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice and reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the competition for any reason.   

Chorus' liability

  • Chorus and any other person or party associated with this competition is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any platform, website services, data connection, communication or the internet, or any combination thereof. 
  • Chorus is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this competition, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. 
  • To the extent permitted by law, Chorus and any other person or party associated with this competition, will not be liable to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, as a result of, or arising from, your participation in the competition. 

Personal information

You authorise Chorus to collect and use your details for the purposes of running this competition and otherwise as outlined in our Privacy Policy, which includes contacting you with future updates that are relevant to you (like promotional material and news, that you’ll be able to opt out of).   

Governing law

This Promotion is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
