Connection required to collect prize

To collect the prize, the winner’s address must:

  •  be connected to Chorus fibre or get connected to Chorus fibre within 3 months of winning the competition, and (on request) provide details of their broadband provider and their account number to Chorus.
  • If available at their address, have or get a Hyperfibre connection once connected to Chorus fibre. To do this, the winner will need an account with a current Hyperfibre service provider. Search ‘Hyperfibre’ after entering your address on this site, Broadband Compare – The Best Internet Deals in NZ – Save Now for a list of  Hyperfibre providers.

Chorus will provide 12 months’ free Hyperfibre broadband to the winner by paying the value of 12 months’ Hyperfibre 40000 connection (up to $2,220 including GST) directly into the winner’s broadband account, providing they meet the entry criteria.    Chorus will credit the amount only once the winner’s address is connected to Chorus fibre broadband (with a Hyperfibre connection if available).

If Hyperfibre is not available at the winner’s address, the Hyperfibre element of the prize will be paid at the total value of the Hyperfibre 4000 plan for 12 months ($2,220 based on $185 per month including GST) which can then be used to cover the cost of any other Chorus broadband e.g., fibre 300. Credit can only be used for Chorus broadband.  No prize is transferable or redeemable for cash and none can be used in combination with any other promotions, vouchers or discounts.
